Each year, we fund talented and innovative Māori to deliver kaupapa that pursue excellence in education, science and leadership sectors. This year, there are two funds open for applications:
Tonganui Scholarship
The Tonganui Scholarship offers three $10,000 grants to accelerate talented, Māori professionals advancing tikanga Māori, mātauranga tuku iho and Te Ao Māori within the oceans sector.
Pou Herenga Tangata Award
The Pou Herenga Tangata Award offers five $5,000 grants to support rangatahi Māori to grow into the next generation of leaders with individual and organisation applications accepted.
