Ka nui te mihi to everyone who joined us in Pōneke or tuned in from across the motu for Amorangi inānahi – kua kī te ngākau.

With over 800 attendees participating across the day, we are honoured to have presented a full day of inspiring kōrero and whakaaro from across the Māori governance sector.

We appreciate the time that many of our online whānau took to engage and kōrero via the online platform. The collective wairua was felt throughout the room, and we value all of the pātai, whakaaro, and kōrero shared throughout the day – ngā mihi atu ki a koutou katoa.

We would like to take this time to also thank our wonderful kaikōrero who shared their own governance journey experiences and inspirational words of wisdom for our next generation of leaders. Ngā mihi atu ki a Chelsea Grootveld, Merepeka Raukawa-Tait, Pania Newton, Tina Porou, Eruera Tarena, Karen Vercoe MNZM, Bayden Barber, Jamie Tuuta, Tania Te Rangingangana Simpson, and Mayor Tory Whanau. As well as our exceptional host – Atawhai Tibble!

If you were unable to participate in this year’s hui in real-time – kei te pai! All recordings of the sessions are available to watch on-demand via the online platform for those who registered.
